Getting to the station
From the airport Fiumicino: Take the regional train towards Roma Termini or Orte and get off at the sto Fiera di Roma. Don’t take the express train as it will take you directly to the central station skipping our stop. From there, walk for 7 minutes.
From the main station Roma Termini: Take the regional train towards Civitavecchia and get off at the stop Roma Ostiense. Take the regional train towards Fiumicino Aeroporto and get off at the station Fiera di Roma. From here, it’s a 7 minutes walk.

When you hire a campervan in Rome you can be on the road right away, trusting that your roadsurfer home on wheels is fully stocked. Your campervan comes with an awning, camping table and two chairs to enjoy the space outside of your vehicle. The kitchen box allows you to save money on eating out: you’ve got all the pots, pans, and utensils to cook up your own meals. There’s even a corkscrew and bottle opener, and a coffee pot, plus mugs for your morning coffee or tea, although you’ll want to bring dish towels, sponges, and eco-friendly dish soap. When you rent a small motorhome from Rome you will need to bring your own bedding, or you can hire what you need from the roadsurfer station. The best time to hire a motorhome in Rome is Spring and Autumn. In April and May, you’ll find fresh mornings and blooming flowers, and in September and October, the city comes back to life after the summer heat whilst remaining warm in the evenings. The city is hot and busy in Summer, and Winter sees colder weather and more rain, although you’ll find cheaper prices from November to March as well as fewer crowds.
You’ll need to fill up the freshwater tank at the beginning of your trip, and empty your grey water at the end. This can be done at a campsite, but if you need a dedicated area we recommend you the Camper Parking Area in the City Centre of Rome:

The city center of Rome is mainly composed of ZTL zones where access is limited and you can be fined. To visit the city centre, we recommend the LGP Via Casilina campground where you can also stay overnight for €25.
